Colin founded Castle Fire & Security in 1996 and has over 30 years’ experience in the fire protection industry.
During his career, Colin has held the position of Chairman of the British Fire Consortium, one of the largest trade association in the fire industry.
He has sat on British Standards working groups helping to prepare BS 5306 Pt 3 2009(Fire extinguishing installations and equipment on premises; commissioning and maintenance of portable fire extinguishers), BS 5306 Pt 8 2012 (Fire extinguishing installations and equipment on premises; selection and positioning of portable fire extinguishers) and BS 5306 Pt 9 2015 (Recharging of portable fire extinguishers)
Colin has also worked extensively with BAFE on the revision of the BAFE Registered Extinguisher Technician Scheme.
Philip oversees the running of the alarm division of the Castle Fire & Security, a role which includes all fire and security alarms as well as the more specialist areas of CCTV secure door entry systems.
Philip joined Castle Fire & Security in 2008 and has accrued extensive experience in the alarm sector through the installation and maintenance of numerous systems during this time, and working with products from most of the leading manufacturers.
Responsible for managing Castle Fire & Security’s Mechanical Division, Kevin’s areas of the business includes Fire Suppression Systems, Fire Extinguishers and Ancillary Equipment.
A career spanning more than 30 years’ experience in the fire protection industry, Kevin has extensive is a fully certificated fire extinguisher and kitchen suppression engineer, and is fully conversant with the relevant legislation.
Kate has worked for the Company since it started trading in 1996.
She oversees all the administration team, and co-ordinates the schedules for the technicians form the Fire alarm and Security Department
Working alongside the Mechanical Division Manager Clare is responsible for preparing invoices for work completed, updating records and document storage.
Steven is responsible for dealing with both Sales and Purchase ledger and keeping all our accounts up to date.
Steven also prepares the invoices, keeps the alarm records up to date and document storage for the alarm and security division.
